Description: With Amber candles are small batch, hand poured, and most importantly, Funky AF. This particular batch is special because the wax is handed blended by me. Additionally, the beeswax is locally sourced from a family owned beekeeper company, Power Beekeepers based in the New Orleans Metropolitan area. This family cares for about 150 beehives. Our coconut oil is 100% organic and allows the candle to burn slower. These two are an earth friendly alternative to paraffin and chemical based waxes.

Heal through your senses with these candles. Our healing journey is heightened when we use our senses. I offer 4 amazing scents.

Instructions: Light Grounded AF for two to three hours to get centered and reduce stress and anxiety.

Ingredients: Hand blended Beeswax and Coconut Oil with wooden wick in amber colored glass jar. Hand selected essential oils: Bergamot and Patchouli Essential Oils and Frankincense Fragrance Oil. Most in important, love.

Description

Candle Care

Step 1

The initial flame will be enlarged, keep away from flammable materials.

Step 2

Burn for at least 2 hours or until the wax creates a pool of wax.

Step 3

Before lighting your candle again, trim cotton wick to ¼ inch. Wooden wicks do not need to be trimmed.

Step 4

Upcycle. Watch this video on how to upcycle your candle container.

Candle Magick Rituals

These candles can be used in candle magick. In candle magic, the color of the candle holds meaning. With Amber Spiritual AF candle collection are left white on purpose, as white is a blank slate and can stand in for any color.

Set your intention by saying it aloud, writing it down, or saying it to yourself.
Affirm your intention by lighting the candle.
Let the candle burn out on it’s own or use a candle snuffer when doing candle magic.

I was so excited by this candle, as Bergamot and Patchouli are two of my favorite candle scents! At first when I smelled the candle, I was worried it wouldn’t be particularly strong; however, once it was lit WOW does this little candle pack a big punch. Super fragrant and can fill any room with an amazing blend of scents. Would highly recommend!

I love grounded af. It’s so calming and fulls the room with a lovely aroma. It’s doesn’t bother my sensitive eyes and it’s made wirh beeswax and coconut! It’s a whole vibe!

About Amber

The root of my work is in reminding clients they have the tools to self heal.

I break intergenerational trauma in black communities, and communities of color, through spiritual and mental health healing. Our trauma is a direct reflection of oppressive and restrictive systems that enable racism, classism, homophobia, ableism, and sexism. We cannot heal ourselves without healing our systems too.

I have worked as a counselor in the education system for seven years providing one on one, group, and family counseling. I have been reading tarot for individuals and groups for over four years.

As a black woman and mental health practitioner, my goal is to use my expertise in both tarot and mental health wellness to help individuals break toxic patterns so they can align with their higher self. The root of my work is in reminding clients they have the tools to self heal.

I studied bilingual school counseling and guidance at New York University. I graduated from the University at Buffalo in May 2020 and received my Mental Health Counseling Advanced Graduate Certification. My background in mental health influences my tarot readings.
